GOD’S CARE MISSIONS (INC)

God’s care missions is a Rural Mission based work, committed to reaching the lost, depopulating hell to populating heaven. It is also committed to encouraging the saints. Labouring for restoration in the body of Christ and bringing help to the less privileged. It is purely an evangelistic outfit.

The burden for this work became strong at the end of 1991. I had to give up my Lecturing Job in the tertiary institution to pursue this call in 1992.

March 6, 1993 the Mission was officially commissioned and has laboured diversely in the following manner:

GOD’S CARE FELLOWSHIP:
We meet to pray and share God’s word regularly for discipleship and encouragement. Many missionaries and gospel preachers have gone forth from the fellowship. Emergency situations in country or the church has resulted in several weeks of fasting and prayer by the fellowship. It is not a church denomination, but the gathering of both our converts and believers from different churches.

EVERGREEN GOSPEL FOUNDATION:
The above foundation, which is the care arm of God’s care missions has brought hope to several lives over the years.

1. WIDOWS CONFERENCE:
   Is a gathering of widows unto the Lord. Over six hundred of them gathered last . They were reached spiritually and blessed physically and materially. Each of them leaves the conference with a blessed gift. Manifold testimonies has followed such conferences. The general conference holds once in a year, in October, while Zonal conferences holds in diverse locations. Support for widows run through the year as many widows have found a place of solace and hearing at God’s Care missions.

2. WIDOWS KIDS EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM:
   We adopt widows kinds for educational support in the secondary schools. Loss of a father must not destroy a child’s career and future. Many of them are abandoned to sit back from schooling. This program has helped some of such greatly.

3. WIDOWS / FATHERLESS VISIT:
   Many widows and orphans have the opportunity to be visited and encouraged according to the injunction of James 1:27.

4. WIDOWS BUSINESS SUPPORT PROGRAM:
   Some widows were given support to enable them start a small business that could sustain them and their children More than fifty have benefited from this scheme.

5. EVERGRGEEN MILL PROJECT:
   A Palm oil mill project was also executed for the benefits of widows and orphans. The proceeds is used in helping them.

6. EVERGREEN SPECIAL NURSARY/PRIMARY SCHOOL:
   In the year 2000, a specialised school were the fear of God is taught. Quality and computer education is offered at highly subsidised fees started. It has opened up the entire community to the gospel. Some children come from as far as five kilometres away. We trust God for a school bus to ease their stress.

PUBLICATIONS.
Nine different titles have being published. Two new books are yet in the press. Two former titles have being translated into French to meet the request of our French audience. Tracts are also produced for free distribution.

CALEBITES CONFERENCE:
Is an annual mission based conference committed to revival and Mobilisation for missions. The last conference hosted about four thousand from four countries.There is indication that attendance this year will be about six thousand from ten countries. Many that responded to missionary call during previous conferences are now in mission fields both within and outside the country.

RADIO OUTREACH PROGRAM:
We have preached the gospel through three radio stations on weekly basis. Payments for this broadcasts are made in advance.

1. RADIO KOGI, OCHAJA:
   Miracle Hour has reached many thousands weekly for over ten years. Sermons are interpreted in Igala to reach the rural populace who may not understand English.

2. RADIO BENUE, IDEKPA:
   Hour of Divine Touch. God has reached several thousands with Salvation healing and deliverance weekly on this station. Sermon are interpreted in Idoma to reach the local populace.

3. RADIO KOGI, OTITE:
   Hour of Divine Intervention. This station reaches the Igbira’s who are predominantly Moslems.

SCHOOL OF MINISTERIAL EXCELLENCE:
We have preached the gospel through three radio stations on weekly basis. Payments for this broadcasts are made in advance.

1. We run a bible school committed to training Missionaries and Gospel labourers for the harvest of the nations. Over a hundred students have graduated and are Labouring on different fields. These students are from different churches and ministries.

2. Guest lecturers are from different parts of this country and other nations in Africa and Europe.

3. Current students are from three countries.

4. Foreign student scholarship scheme. The school provides scholarship for some foreign students who need such facility to be able to go through the training. This is an investment for the harvest of the nations.

2. Secondary school students from hundreds of colleges are reached annually during this conference.
3. Many case of child sexual Abuse are handled.
4. Spiritual and academic problems are attended to.

CRUSADE AND RURAL OUTREACHES:
We have preached the gospel through three radio stations on weekly basis. Payments for this broadcasts are made in advance.

1. Several crusades in cities and Villages have brought in thousands to the Kingdom of God. These is a continuous exercise.
2. Every year after the Calebites Conference, many of the Participants are released to Various villages for a minimum of one week. Many idols have being burnt, their worshippers born-again, Churches started where none exists.

AUDIOTAPE MINISTRY:
Several of our audio tapes are made available. God has used this tape ministry to bless many souls as they listened. These tapes range from tapes of radio weekly broadcast and messages preached in different meetings.

STAFF TEAM:
We have a staff team of eleven staff, who are Vibrant, Dedicated, Sacrificial and understanding. They prefer the progress of the work to their personal comfort.

FINAL WORD:
We have insisted on forging this work forward through the principle of sacrifice, self denial, and personal inconveniences with all joy. We believe that many who support these work have inconvenienced themselves many times to identify with this work.

PRAYER REQUEST:

1. Help us thank God for His gracious care over the past ten years. It was a decade of God’s Faithfulness.

2. Pray for God’s protection over the entire staff team in all their journeys by road, water, air or any other means. May they ever get to their destination and return. Pray that God will keep meeting their personal needs.

3. Pray for journey mercies for all participants in our various conferences. Pray also for abundant provisions. Feeding and accommodation throughout the conferences are free.

4. Pray that God will bless each of the outlets of this mission with fruitful results.

5. Pray for further provision of facilities that will ease the work and enable us reach greater audience.

6. Pray for fresh open doors of ministry to the nations.

7. Pray that God will send in more labourers.

8. Pray for our widows and orphans that God will keep encouraging them and meeting their needs.

9. Pray that righteousness and excellence will remain the watch word of this work.

10. Pray for continual abundant provision for the sustenance of the various arms of this work.
